Israel Palestine 24 was started by me, the “Mythic Dreidel,” to bring internet dwellers the truth, and nothing but the truth, about the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. The goal is to fight misinformation, bigotry, deception, and those who seek to exploit this tragic and complex issue for their own gain.
October 7th was one of the worst catastrophes Israel and the Jewish people have experienced since the Holocaust. Not even during Yom Kippur in 1973 were so many innocent civilians butchered in the most horrific ways imaginable in a single day. In the aftermath, the internet was flooded with misinformation. People rushed to share their takes, but most had little to no real information, relying on bad sources, opportunists, or people just pretending to be experts. On top of that, both sides lacked the historical context needed to truly understand the situation. As a result, the conversation around the Israeli-Palestinian conflict got dumbed down and stripped of any nuance.
That’s what I’m trying to fix with this website. My goal is to provide historical context, fact-based analysis (including intel I can share), and hopefully influence how this conflict is being talked about online. I’m not trying to convert anyone. I get that changing someone’s mind today is almost impossible. But if you took the time to read my articles, even if you walk away unconvinced, that’s already a win in my book.
